REW, Linda Lou (Formerly of Rice, WA)-Entered into rest on January 31st, 2018, in the Spokane Valley, her home for the past 49 years. She was born on May 5, 1939 to John and Pearl Ball in Colville, WA. Linda attended the Rice grade schools and graduated from Kettle Falls High School. She spent a career in the banking industry, working for Seafirst and the Bank of America. Linda loved outdoor activities, such as, camping and ‘drives’ into the mountains. She also enjoyed going out to eat with her family and enjoyed spending family time. Linda loved growing plants and flowers. She was highly organized and used those skills to help several family members with their finances and other concerns throughout their lives. Linda is survived by her son, Jeffrey Rew; daughter-in-law, Mariebet Rew; granddaughter, Caitlyn Rew; grandson, Shane Rew; Daughter, Lisa Sassaman; grandson, John Sassaman; a brother, John Ball, Jr; and a sister, Denni Babcock. “WE LOVE YOU GRANDMA!” Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) 212 S David St., Spokane Valley, WA 99212 or to a charity of one’s choice. A “Celebration of Life” will begin at 12 Noon, Saturday, February 10, 2018 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA, with a private family interment to follow.
