Lois was lifted into the loving arms of Jesus on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2018. She was born on September 3, 1924, in Selfridge, North Dakota to Basil and Cidne (Macklin) Roberts. Her family included numerous brothers and sisters, whom she dearly loved. In 1942, Lois moved to Spokane where she completed high school. Shortly thereafter, she went to work at Alcoa/Kaiser Aluminum at Trentwood. There she met and married her lifelong sweetheart, Burton E. Pendleton, an electrician. Their children are Burton E. Pendleton, Jr. of Spokane; Stephani Melville of Pewaukee, WI; Robert Douglas Pendleton, Lois Ann (Annie) Miller and Evelyn Ainley all of Spokane. Lois was a prayer warrior and loved the Word of God. She shared her passionate faith with her children, grandchildren, their families and anyone who cared to listen. Her family and many friends are forever grateful for every one of her 93 years, and she will be deeply missed. A viewing opportunity will be held, today, Friday, February 16th, between the hours of 3PM and 7PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Turning Point Open Bible Church, 11911 N Division, with Pastor Monte LeLaCheur officiating. Lois will rest eternally with her husband, Burton, at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery.
