Eugene Edgar Baldwin

Baldwin, Eugene Edgar (Gene) (Age 90) Gene Baldwin passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009. He was born May 4, 1919 in Princeton, KS and graduated from Princeton HS in 1936. He moved to the Spokane area in 1949 and married Jane Cockburn in 1950. He worked as a Welder/Iron Worker for Union Iron Works and Spokane Crusher. Gene and Jane enjoyed traveling with the Silver Sams trailer club and were active members of the Eagles. Gene was an avid sports fan loyal to the Mariners, Seahawks and his beloved Zags. He is survived by his brother Jack and wife Maxine of Kaiser, OR, son Richard E. Baldwin and wife Pam of Spokane, and son Ronald J. Baldwin and wife Roxanne of Olympia, three grandchildren, Gene, Dina and Ashlee, and seven great-grandchildren. Viewing will be at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. Division, on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 15 and 16 from 9:00 AM until 8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at Riplinger Funeral Home on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at 1:00. In remembrance of Gene, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
