BEDDOW, Wilma Claudette (Age 58) – Born on April 5, 1960 in San Antonio, TX; entered into rest on April 8, 2018 in Spokane, WA. A Spokane area resident for 23 years. Wilma graduated from McCollum High School (San Antonio, TX) in 1978. Wilma was a loving and giving person who enjoyed volunteering. Over the years, she volunteered at many events and organizations including Alzheimer’s, Bloomsday, and Hoopfest. She helped teach English as second language. Wilma loved animals, though unable to have pets herself, and her cancer prevented it, she would often visit animal shelters and give attention to the dogs and cats waiting for a home. While she worked at Spokane City Hall, she would spend many lunch hours at the Transitions Women’s Hearth visiting with the clients there. Wilma is survived by her husband, Albert W. Beddow, Jr. of Spokane; and her brother, Roy A. Piatt, Jr. of Shiloh, IL. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4305 N.
