Lela V. Lindbergh(age 92) entered into rest on December 17, 2009 at her Spokane home. She was born on November 28, 1917 in Troy, ID to parents Bert and Christine Severson. Lela graduated from Moscow High School in 1937. A resident of Spokane for over 56 years, Lela worked in the coffee shop at the Davenport Hotel as a cashier, hostess and manager and also at the Payless Drug Store as a retail clerk before retiring in 1968. She was a member of Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America Eiram Court #62, the Hillyard Senior Center, AARP, and NARFE. Lela is survived by her daughter, Sharon Welch of Spokane; sister, Opal Lahde of Colbert, WA; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 from 9:00AM – 5:00PM at Riplinger Funeral Home 4305 N. Division Spokane, WA. A “Celebration of Life” will begin at 10:00AM Tuesday, December 29, 2009 at Riplinger Funeral Home followed by interment in Moscow, ID.
