Barbara Anita Aksamit

Our beloved Barbara (Barb) A. Aksamit (Age 52) was given her wings on February 11th, 2010, due to a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Edward and Bernice Aksamit. Barb is survived by her lifelong love Lori Paine of 23 years; four brothers, Dennis, Ron and Barb, Steve and Pat, Donny and Jeannie, all of Minnesota; and also one sister Julie and Howard Smith from Vancouver, WA. Barb proudly graduated with a Technically Arts Degree in St. Cloud, MN. If you knew Barb, you would know what an inspiration she was to all. She could walk into a room and fill the air with smiles and laughter within minutes. She loved everything from camping, fishing and barbequing with friends and family, to just relaxing in the yard on a sunny afternoon. She will be dearly missed by all! Viewing will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA, with a memorial service to follow at 1 PM.
