Lucille Kringlen

Lucille (age 92) left us to be with her Lord on March 3, 2010. Lucille lived independently in her Spokane home for 64 years where she loved God, her family, friends, needlework, and gardening. She was born in Veblen, South Dakota on June 4, 1917 to Walter and Gena Criswell. Her youth was spent in the Kalispell, Montana area where she graduated from Flathead High School. Lucille married Einar Kringlen on September 6, 1936 and together spent 43 years before his passing in 1979. They settled in Spokane where they raised their family and were members of Central Baptist Church. Lucille is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Humes of Spokane; her son, Keith Kringlen and his wife Marsha of Bellevue, WA. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Derek (Mary Anne)Humes, Dane Humes, Holly Humes, Cory Kringlen, and Casey Kringlen; great grandchildren, Riley, Hannah, Haidyn, Christian, Haley; and many close friends and family from the Kalispell area with whom she and her family enjoyed many good times. Lucille’s favorite bible verse was John 14: 1 – 7. Donations may be made in Lucille’s name to the Central Baptist Church 19 W. Shannon, Spokane, WA 99205. Special thanks to the staff at Royal Park Care Center. Visitation will be Saturday, March 6 from 9:00 to 5:00PM and Monday, March 8 from 9:00AM to 8:00PM from at Riplinger Funeral Home 4305 N. Division, Spokane, WA. A graveside service will begin at 11:30AM on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery 5909 S. Cheney – Spokane Rd.
