Helen Mary Mueller

Helen Mary Mueller “Nanny” (age 88) went to be with the Lord on March 6, 2010. A longtime resident of Spokane, Helen was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on October 13, 1921. She enjoyed being a Lutheran pastor’s wife. Helen sold World Books door to door. Her hobbies were gardening, cooking, quilting, and she played the piano and the organ. Helen was preceded in death by her husband Rev. Philip Mueller in 1997. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis (Elden) Marion of Spokane; son Dave (Alethea) Mueller of Kelso, WA; grandchildren, Brian, Scott, Darrin (Tina), Brandon; great-grandchildren, Victor (Rose), Darrik, Desirae, and Daniel. Visitation will be Friday, March 12 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday, March 13 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Riplinger Funeral Home 4305 N. Division Spokane, WA. Please join family and friends in celebration of Nanny’s life on Sunday, March 14, 2010 beginning at 2:30PM at Riplinger Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery.
