Robert "Bob" Blair Tederman

March 21, 1925 — April 18, 2010

Bob went to be with his Lord on April 18, 2010, in Spokane, WA. He was born on March 21, 1925 in Fresno, CA to Axel Robert and Edna Christine (Hamer) Tederman. As an infant, they moved back to the father’s homestead in Denton, Montana. Bob attended a one room school and in 1937, moved to Wendell, ID, were he graduated from Wendell High School. He entered the U.S. Army serving in France, Belgium, and the occupational forces in Germany, during WWII. Bob received his BS degree in Electrical Engineering from the U of Idaho and worked for the Bonneville Power Administration in Spokane for 35 years. On June 6, 1954, he married Ellen Etta Pillers, at the Old Central Christian Church in Spokane. To them were born two daughters which survive him, Mary Ellen Shores (Jim) Grier and Nancy Ann (Richard) Bunker. Grandchildren are Sara Ellen Shores (Chris) Wilson, Raymond Robert Bunker, Patrick Oliver Shores, Megan Ann Bunker, Sean Michael Grier and Kelsey Marie Grier. Great grandchildren are Alyssia Ellen and Lindsay Kathryn Wilson and Tyson Andrew Grier. Bob is also survived by his former son-in-law, Thomas Shores. His loving wife, Etta, survives him at the home. Bob was a member of VASA (Swedish American Lodge), AIEEE (Electrical Engineers), Deacon and Elder at Country Homes Christian Church, Deacon and Benevolence Treasurer Mission Community Presbyterian Church, NARFE (retired Federal Employees). He was an active member of Riverview Retirement Community Men’s Club and was known as “Mr. Coffee”. A quiet man, but he was always willing to help anyone in need, with a ready smile. Burial will be at Fairmount Memorial Park with a private graveside service. Memorial service will begin at 2:00PM Saturday, May 1, 2010 in the Riverview Retirement Center Chapel, E. 1801 Upriver Drive. Chaplain Gary Moore officiating assisted by Lucille Gump and Carol Williams. Memorials in Bob’s name can be made to the Mission Presbyterian Church, 2003 E. Mission Spokane, WA 99207, Hospice House, 367 E. 7th Spokane, WA 99202 or to the American Cancer Society 920 N. Washington #200, Spokane, WA 99201.
