Born April 14, 1933, went home to her Lord & Savior April 18, 2010 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Lyla is survived by Lloyd, her husband of 59 years, children: Gary (Charlotte) Fricke, Jeannie Morris, Bonnie Sipe, & Linda (Tim) Groth; grandchildren: Marie (Dan) Rice, Michelle (Dan) Bledsoe, Shannon (Carl) Roeder, Stacey (Darrick) Shockley, Jennifer (Jeremy) Holbrook, & Adam Groth; great-grandchildren: Thomas, Johnathan, Stephen, Sydney, Ashley, Autumn, Beau, Steven, Jacob & Kendyl; sisters: Alta Reed, Elaine Sanders, Loreen (Carl) Shearer, Sandra Perry, Kathleen (JC) Fundahn, & Sheila (Pat) Endicott; brother: Bruce McLaughlin; many nieces & nephews. Lyla enjoyed gardening, traveling, knitting, crocheting, Bingo, Bunco, & Pinochle. She was a member of Williams Valley Grange, Spokamper Travel Club, & her local knitting club. Lyla & Lloyd enjoyed many winters in Arizona. She attended Foothills & Happy Home Community Church's. Viewing at Riplingers N 4305 Division April 22, 9-5. Memorial Service April 23, Central Grange, 7001 E Bigelow Gulch Rd. 11 a.m. Please make donations to INWB Center.
