Emma Lindholm 12/1/1923 – 4/21/2010 Born Emma Ramirez de Olivo on December 1, 1923 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, Emma was the daughter of Joaquin Ramirez and Delores Olivo, sister of Lolita, Hector, Wilfred, Irma, and Ruben, wife of Allen A. Lindholm, mother of Allen F. Lindholm (Monica), Mark Lindholm, Kahren McCrow, and Jeffrey Lindholm (Julie), grandmother of Ryan Lindholm (Alison), Adam McCrow, Kelley Potter (Matthew), Travis Lindholm, Jared Lindholm (Suzie), Rachel Wilson (Seth Paul), Marcus Lindholm and Jeffrey Lindholm, and great-grandmother to Taylor, Isabella, Tristan, Liam, Logan, Amy, Summer, Meagan and Colton. Although Emma faced many medical challenges the last ten years of her life, she met each one with courage, tenacity and grace. Our dear mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend put all of her strength into fighting her last fight, but on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 9:20 a.m., she quietly embraced the end of her earthly life. Emma’s family and friends were blessed to be gathered around her bedside kissing her hands, stroking her hair – all the while telling stories, sharing memories, holding each other through laughter and tears – all a testimony to her rich and abundant life. Visitation for family and friends Thursday, April 22, 2010 between the hours of 3 PM and 8 PM at the funeral home. Services celebrating Emma’s life will be held at St. David’s Episcopal Church, 7315 N. Wall St., Spokane on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 12:30 p.m. Memorials can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105. Private interment Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery.
