Catherine Joanne Morby

Catherine Joanne Morby was born June 22nd, 1927 to William and Catherine Marjorie Morby in Pocatello, Idaho. Catherine is survived by her two children, Cathy R. Peroff and Bill R Morby. After graduating from Whitworth College, Catherine became a school teacher in the Central Valley School District and taught there for 22 years. In 1971, she adopted her daughter, Catherine and two years later adopted her son, Bill. In 1988, she retired from teaching and moved to the Oregon Coast where she fell in love with the ocean and coastal living. The ocean brought her peace and she always said, "The only things I need in my life are my children, my pets and the ocean". In 1994, Catherine moved back to be with her children and lived out the remainder of her life here in Spokane. Through the years she touched many lives. She was an incredibly strong, loving, selfless woman, mother, and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her. Her Life was rich beyond measure. May the Lord in his infinate glory bless her with eternal joy and peace for a life well lived. "We love you unconditionally and will miss you."
