Aldene Blanch Bentz

BENTZ, Aldene B. (age 78)- Entered into rest on May 21, 2010, at home in Elk, WA. She was born on the 4th of July, 1931, near Metaline Falls, WA to Verner and Vera Blair. Aldene will always be remembered as a true People-Person. Her love of the Lord made it easy for her to make friends and share hugs. She spent many hours volunteering at the Elk Food Bank and felt a sincere joy in helping others. Aldene also enjoyed reading. Survivors include her husband of nearly 61 years, Victor, at home; four children, Vernon E. Bentz and Marian J. Bentz both of Anchorage, AK, Wayne D. Bentz of Spokane, and Vicki L. Dyck of Loon Lake, WA; two sisters, Vida Taylor of Pinehurst, ID, and Louise Beebe of Vancouver, WA; fourteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers. Viewing will be held on Monday, between the hours of noon and 8 p.m. at Riplinger Funeral Home, N 4305 Division, Spokane, WA. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Country Church of the Open Bible, 40015 N Collins Rd, Elk, WA 99009, with Pastor Doug Thomas officiating. Interment will follow at the Elk Cemetery.
