Therese M. Derr

Therese M. (Bell) Derr (age 81) passed away on June 1, 2010. She was born in Spokane and worked as a telephone operator after high school. Therese later moved to Southern California and was married there. Upon becoming widowed 27 years ago, she returned to Spokane where she became very active in her parish. Therese served as the Treasurer for St. Vincent DePaul, was a member of the Altar Society, as well as, served as seamstress for any of the church’s needs. She is survived by an older sister; her daughter, a granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm Friday, June 4 at Riplinger Funeral Home 4305 N. Division in Spokane and Funeral Mass will begin 10:00 am Saturday, June 5, 2010 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 545 E. Providence St., Spokane, WA.
