Our loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and friend entered in to rest and returned home to Our Lord on Monday June 28. She was born on November 18, 1929 to Luella & Aldois Hiller in Big Timber, Montana. Frances was preceded in death by her beloved husband Alton (Al) Hammer. Their separation this last year was their longest time apart, now they will be together forever. Frances is survived by their seven children; Barbara and husband Pat Fowler of Spokane, Alan and wife Kathy Hammer of Vancouver, WA, Robert and wife Linda Hammer of Spokane, David and wife Carla Hammer of Alexandria, LA, Terry and wife Suzanne Hammer of Oaksdale, WA, Brenda and husband Wayne Reynolds of Elk, WA and Chris and wife Becky of Spokane, 19+ Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren, her sisters & her brothers along with their families in numbers to great to list. Frances was an avid seamstress with family and friends turning to her for mending or help with special items. She made the dresses for several of her children’s weddings and was a constant supplier of her daughters and Grand-daughters Barbie doll clothes. Frances was a loyal member of Fowler United Methodist Church showing with her actions and devotion what it really means to serve the Lord. Even during her last days one concern was to complete a sewing task for the annual sale at church. Hospice was a great help the last weeks of Mom’s life and we would like to thank the organization for their support and assistance during this difficult time. The family would like to ask that in lieu of flowers donations be sent to the Hospice organization or to Fowler United Methodist Church. There will be a Memorial Service on Friday; July 9th at 11:00 am at Fowler United Methodist Church, 3928 N Howard in Spokane, WA.
