Ronald William Haley

HALEY, Ronald William Age 54 Ron passed away on July 13, 2010 in Spokane. He was born Jan. 10, 1954 in Germany. Ron enlisted in the US Army and spent a tour in Turkey. After his enlistment was fulfilled he returned to Spokane, at which time he became a member of the Operating Engineers Local 370. During his career he was employed by Inland Asphalt for 13 years. Activities that he enjoyed was gardening, cooking and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Gladys Haley. He is survived by three daughters, Christal Reiss in Colorado Springs CO, Anesha Slocum in Vancouver WA, and Amy Haley in Phoenix AZ, also stepdaughters Tammy Schimpf and Heidi Hill of Spokane and five grandsons. Also surviving are brother Jack Haley Jr. and wife Rosie of Post Falls, ID. Jack had truly become his brothers guardian angel for the last several years. Sister Carolyn Prindle and husband Neil of Spirit Lake, ID. Also he had one nephew Ron Riek Jr. in Spokane, nieces Jennifer Millett in Everett Wa., Wendy Haley in Spokane and stepniece Amber Roy also of Spokane. Numerous great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Sat. July 17, 2010 from 11 to 4 pm at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N. Division Spokane WA Graveside services with military honors will be held on Monday July 19, 2010 at 1:00 pm at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery, Spokane,WA.
