Entered peacefully into rest on July 12, 2010. Vic was born on August 18, 1923 in Tacoma, WA. After graduat ing from Stadium High School in Tacoma, WA, he worked for Northern Pacific Railroad as a fireman, went into the Navy and served on the USS Limestone during WWII. Then moved to Spokane and graduated from NW Business College as a Computer Programmer. Got married to Cora Belle Risor, God rest her soul, they were married for 60 years. He started working for Helphrey Motor Freight then Spokane Computer Services and retired from Spokane Transit Authority in 1989. Vic loved to travel and had the opportunity to take many trips. His love for the beauty of an artist’s point of view of a camera, he took many wonderful pictures of his trips. Vic belonged to many organizations such as the Masons, The Yacht Club, El Katif Shriner’s and band, playing the glockenspiel, french horn and the drum. Vic had a colorful character when being a Drum Major for the band. He also played the violin, marimba and piano, Never a dull moment in his life with the Camera Club, bowling with a group or just for fun and biking. Yeah only traveling 19 miles at the age of 85 last year. Vic is survived by his sister Virginia Hay of Tacoma, WA., son Robert Pearson and his children Rachael, Eli and Sara; daughter Jean and her children, Aaron and Shannon, Kyle and Christy, Ruth and Clint, Abigail and Lance, Angela. He dearly loved his 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, PO Box 2472 Spokane, WA 99210-2472. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 3rd at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 2715 S. Ray St. Spokane, WA. at 11:00am.
