Grace L. (Anderson) Gibson was born in Prosser, WA on March 6, 1922, Grace, entered into rest on August 5, 2010 in Omaha, NE. She lived 46 years in Spokane and had been a resident of Omaha for the past 3 years. She was a graduate of John R. Rogers High School in Spokane and was a Past President of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Washington State D.A.V. She was the staff organist for 32 years at the Spokane Veterans Hospital, and enjoyed playing the organ and piano for church and social functions. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Travis J. Gibson, in 1991. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Aleta and Gary Tyler of Council Bluffs, IA; granddaughter, Tracey Tranisi of Plattsmouth, NE; grandson, Kevin Ford of Salt Lake City, UT; and great-granddaughters, Gabriella and Sophia Tranisi of Plattsmouth, NE. Graveside funeral service will be held Monday, August 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Spokane Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
