Terry was born in New Ulm, MN., on May 24, 1946. He spent his early years in the New Ulm area and then attended college and received an A.A. degree. He joined the Navy and served in the Vietnam War. He spent many working years in automobile management and sales in MN and Spokane, WA. In 1981 he met the love of his life, Neoma Sperlich, and they were married on May 30 of that year. He is the beloved father of Kyle and Maegan who were born in Minnesota. For six years Terry was the top sales manager from Ford. Terry drove his custom made red 91 Mustang GFX as the pace car at Spokane Raceway Park. The Association of Pool was owned and operated by Terry. Naturally billiards was a major part of his life. He was creative in rebuilding and restoring cars. He could keep up with the best when it came to cooking. He made the best Chinese cuisine we ever had. And he loved to eat. There never was a donut he did not like! Terry enjoyed sports. He was an avid fan of the Twins, Mariners and Gonzaga Bulldogs. He is survived by his wife, Neoma; son Kyle; daughter Maegan; sister Dianne Stordahl of Mankato, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon Zepher and Lavelle Helder. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 2:30 PM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 7307 N. Nevada St., Spokane.
