Myrl Katherine Knapp

KNAPP, Myrl K. (age 93) – Born in New York City on June 2, 1917, and died on September 9, 2010, at her home. She was a World War II Veteran serving in the WACS. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard E. Knapp and one son, Richard E. Knapp. Myrl is survived by three sons, Lawrence (Karen), Andrew (Tina), and Walter Knapp; and by one sister, Caroline Wesbrook; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; also by her longtime caretaker, Brittney Smith. Myrl was a longtime member of the Green Bluff United Methodist Church, Green Bluff Grange #300, Green Bluff Home Ec Club, and the Good Sams. Memorial service- Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11 am at the Green Bluff United Methodist Church, 9908 E. Green Bluff Rd. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association or charity of your choice.
