Edwin "Ed" C. McKinney

Edwin C. “Ed” MCKinney (age 81) passed away peacefully on September 14, 2010. Ed was born in Spokane on January 24, 1929. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1947. Ed served in the Army in the 2nd Armor Division from 1951 through 1953 in Germany. He worked his entire career in wholesale hardware retiring from Jensen Byrd. Ed is survived by his brother, Russell; cousins, Larry (Peggy) Erickson, Dolores Patera, George (Judy) Fenton, Janice Joy, and Carol Huston. Per his request, there will not be a service but there will be a “Celebration of Life” at the Maxwell House Restaurant, 1425 N. Ash on Saturday, September 18th beginning at 1:00PM. Donations can be made in Edwin’s name to the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars. There will be a private interment at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery.
