Mary Louise Florez

FLOREZ, Mary Louise (Age 90) - Went to be with our Lord on September 29, 2010. Mary went to see our Lord and Savior on a beautiful sunny day to be with her husband and our father, Marion A. Florez. She truly enjoyed life and it reflected in her passion for gardening and tending to having large dinners at her home. Mary was born in Spokane on March 2, 1920. She was a stay home housewife, who raised three children that she was very proud of. Mary truly was an inspiration and joy to those around her. She leaves behind three children, Danny (Sandi) Florez, Nikki Wagner, and Shelley Vitulli. As well as 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. Mary was very proud of her children and grandchildren, and was not afraid to mention that. She was very blessed in her life, which centered around family and friends. She would always say to "enjoy your life and stay happy". This is what we will remember and always smile when we think of her. Thank You Mary Florez for touching our lives and those around you. We love you. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the funeral home. A Rosary will be held Sunday, October 3rd at 4:00 PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME, 4305 N. DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, October 4, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 4418 N. Jefferson, Spokane, WA. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Spokane, WA.
