Charlette G. Smiley - York

Charlette G. Smiley-York passed away on October 7, 2010 in Spokane, WA. Charlette was born on September 6, 1923 in Brookings, Oregon to Charles G. Aiken and Junnetta V. Hill Aiken. She spent most of her life in Oregon, working in Banking in Portland, Eugene, and the Rogue Valley. Charlette leaves behind her daughter, Paulette (Jim) Thompson of Chetopa, KS; granddaughters, Candice Dubois of Anderson, MO,and Karla (Richard) Ott of Spokane, WA; grandson, Daniel Wood of Spokane, WA; great grandchildren, Korey Kessinger of SC, Tim Wood of MO, and Jessi Lynn Ott of WA; great-great granddaughter, Bella Kessinger of SC; her sister, Welcome Lipparelli of Boise, ID; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents;sisters, Junnetta Preddy, Dulcie Cornett, and Flossie Dugger; brothers, Jimmy and Glenn Aiken.
