Keith J. Bowen (age 77) entered into rest on November 18, 2010 at his home in Spokane. He was born on February 18, 1933 in San Diego, CA and his parents moved to Spokane shortly after. Keith started working when he was just 16 years old. He worked as a diesel mechanic for various companies in and around Spokane including, Exchange Lumber, Van Belle Lumber, Savage Lumber, Washington Water Power, Roundup, Fred Meyer, and Super Value Groceries. Keith retired in 1993. He enjoyed working on “fixer-uppers”, riding motorcycles, snowmobiles, fishing and hunting. Keith is survived by his loving wife Shirley; children, Cheryl Cutter, Bill (Regina) Barber, and Sharon (Lonnie) Spier; brother, Steve Bowen; sister, Sherry Bowen; four grandchildren, Tony, Jay, Hunter, Maranda; and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 23 and Wednesday, November 24 from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at Riplinger Funeral Home 4305 N. Division Spokane, WA. Graveside service will begin at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 26, 2010 at the Thornton Cemetery in Thornton, WA.
