James R. Sullivan

Sullivan, James Robert (age 73) entered into rest on November 20, 2010. He was born in Spokane on September 20, 1937 to parents Bart and Elizabeth Sullivan. James attended Libby High School in Libby Montana. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge in 1966. James married his loving wife, Harriet J. (Dunn) and together they raised their son, Michael. Harriet preceded him in death in June of 2007. James owned and operated United Roofing and Sheet Metal for many years before retiring in 2000. He is survived by his son, Michael (Cindy) Sullivan; and grandson, Nicholas Sullivan of Mead; and his sister, Mary (Bryce Eugene) Ault; and nephew, Brian Ault of Benge, WA. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to James’ caregivers at VA Hospice. Visitation will be Saturday, November 27 from 9:00–5:00PM at Riplinger Funeral Home 4305 N. Division Spokane, WA. A funeral mass will begin at 11:00AM on Monday, November 29, 2010 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church 3720 E. Colbert Rd. in Colbert, WA, with interment following the service at Holy Cross Cemetery in Spokane.
