Lawrence E. "Larry" Brown

Lawrence “Larry” Brown (age 69) Larry’s life journey ended on Sunday, November 28, 2010. He was born in May of 1941 to Murvel and Ruby Brown in Colville, WA. He graduated from John R. Rogers H.S. in 1960 and attended Eastern Washington University. He married his high school sweetheart, lifetime love and companion Lynne in 1962. Together they shared 48 years of adventures. They have three devoted children; David Brown and Cheryl Brown of Wellpinit, WA, and Laura Philpot of Molalla, OR. They have 8 wonderful grandchildren, Destiney, Valandra, Kegan, Kelsea, Keyland, Keyper B., Keyper P. and Griffin. He is also survived by his bother Ron and his family, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and many friends. Larry was devoted to his family, friends, community, and tribe. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. A memorial service will be held at the Wellpinit Longhouse on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:00A.M. 6401 Sherwood Loop Rd, Wellpinit, WA In honoring Larry’s wish, the memorial service will be ”short and sweet”.
