Jeane 'Cooki' Nibarger

January 8, 1944 — January 2, 2025

Our sweet mother, Alice Jeane Kelly Nibarger, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on January 2, 2025. She was the heart of our family and we will miss her greatly. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and focused her life on her family. She never met a stranger and enjoyed making friends. She loved to sing and had an appreciation for all kinds of music, and was known to be a big Elvis fan; she enjoyed the fact that they shared a birthday. Mom was a lifetime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved the Savior with all her heart. She enjoyed serving in many different callings but she particularly loved her years working with the children in primary.

Mom was born on January 8, 1944 in California. She was raised in Abilene, Texas and always considered herself a Texan through and through. She was preceded in death by her parents Marvin and Dorothy Kelly; her husband, A. Lamont Nibarger; her grandson Conner Smith and her brother Gary Kelly. She is survived by her daughter Lori Heftel (Chris); son David Nibarger (Karen), daughter Lisa Smith (Bart), daughter Juli Norris (Mike), son Paul Nibarger (Rachel) and daughter Kelli Perrins (Clayne), her sisters Carla Lorimor, Janet Kelly Lee and Sheri Kane and her brother David Kelly. Mom was very proud of her 24 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way.
