Charlotte "Jean" Shull

Charlotte “Jean” Shull, 90, of Spokane WA went to be with the Lord on February 22, 2024.

Jean was born May 16, 1933 to Charles Piper and Freda (Drews) Piper in Spokane WA where she was raised.  The family later moved to Reardan WA where she graduated from Reardan High School in 1951.  Jean met Farrell Shull, an Air Force man, stationed at Fairchild AFB. When Farrell returned from the Korean war, they were married in January 1954.

She loved flowers, crafting, puzzles, cooking, music, singing, going for scenic drives and worshipping God.  Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.  She also looked forward each week to visiting with her friends at TOPS where she had been a member for over 50 years.

Jean is survived by her children, Nancy (Daniel Kelly) Langan, Ron Shull, Dave (Kathy) Shull and Paula (Brian) Cook; grandchildren, Tim (Kady) Langan, Renee (Ashley) Casimir, Nicole (Chris) Baird and Brice (Angela) Cook; and great grandchildren, Carson, Eleanor Charlotte, Asher and a new one on the way.  She is also survived by 4 sisters-in-law; Penny Piper of Davenport WA, Joy Beck of Caneyville KY, and two in Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Farrell, her parents Charles and Freda Piper, her two brothers Eddie and Bob Piper, her two sisters Margie Wark and Pat Senter, and her great grandson Colton.

Visitation will be held Thursday March 7th, 12 pm – 7 pm and Friday March 8th, 9 am – 5 pm at Riplinger Funeral Home 4305 N Division, Spokane WA.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday March 9, 2024 at Trinity Baptist Church, 6528 N Monroe St., Spokane WA with pastor Blaine Donaldson officiating.  Interment will be on Monday, March 11th, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Reardan Cemetery, Reardan, WA.  Guestbook:  www.riplingerfuneralhome.com
