Christopher Lynn Ray

RAY, Christopher L. (age 56) – Passed away on Friday, June 22nd surrounded by his family.  Chris was born on August 5, 1961 in Denver, Colorado to Sue Ellen and Marland Ray. He and his father moved to Spokane to relocate the family business.  Chris attended Mead High School while working on the sod farm, Ray Turf.  In 1994, he met Martina Soto and married shortly after.  He is survived by his two sons, Austin Ray and Tyler Soto, and by his two precious grandsons, Nolan and Knox, whom he loved dearly.  Chris is also survived by his mother, Sue Ellen; his uncle, Dwayne; and by three brothers, Randy Ray, Stan Ray, and Mike Ray.  He also leaves behind his niece, Brittany Ray and his nephew, Jeffrey Ray.  He is preceded in death by his father, Marland Ray and by his brother, Vic Ray.  Funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 1:00 PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY, 4305 N DIVISION, SPOKANE, WA, 99207.  Private interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
