David John Ohler

David John Ohler was born on April 12th, 1971. Jesus called him home on October 25th, 2021. David was raised in Spokane, Washington. He attended Arlington Elementary School, Garry Middle School, and graduated at Rogers High School, class of 1989. He then attended Eastern Washington University. David had a huge heart for God, his family, and friends. He was a very artistic and creative man. He loved music, gardening, art, nature, motorcycles, Star Wars, playing pool, and loved food and grilling. His wife would say, "He loved to eat anything, as long as it didn't eat him first." He was a tremendous cook who loved to entertain. He and his wife loved to share the food they made with others. He was also abundantly generous in heart in the way he loved and served others. David had a smile that would light up the room. He is survived by his wife Sengmany of 10 years, his sons and daughters, Christian, Phoenix, Koby, Jessica, Tiana, Nathan, his mother Benita, sister Alicia, brother Jason, and all his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Paul, his son Chayton, and Grandparents. A service and celebration of his life will be at Calvary Spokane, Friday November 5th at 1:00 pm. Please dress colorfully in memory of David's personality and zeal for life. Reception to follow with sweets, as David had a sweet tooth. (Due to Covid-19 and vulnerable family members, masks are preferred especially when approaching the family. We know there were many wonderful people who knew and loved David.
