Edith passed away peacefully and gracefully at her home in Mesa, Arizona on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. She was born Edith Norma Eliason at Cocolalla, Idaho on October 12, 1925. She grew up developing close relationships with both her family and friends. Many of those early friendships flourished for her entire lifetime. She was always a gracious and enthusiastic hostess, willing to coordinate gatherings on short notice in order to visit and enjoy time together. She married Bill Wisecarver on June 8, 1946. Edith and Bill shared a full and happy marriage of over 60 years which lasted until Bill passed away in 2008. Edith and Bill purchased a lake lot at Cocolalla Lake near her birthplace and built a cabin there, where they enjoyed many outdoor adventures with family and friends. Edith is Survived by Son Timothy and his wife Judy, Son Todd and his wife Simone, Grandson Tim Jr. and his wife Halsey, Grandson Matthew, precious cousins and many dear friends. A Celebration of Edith’s life will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N Division, Spokane, Washington 99207. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Spokane Memorial Gardens, 5909 Cheney-Spokane Rd., Spokane, WA 99224.
