Edward John Palac

Edward John Palac passed away January 19^th 2023 in Spokane, WA, surrounded by his family.

Edward was born on May 12^th 1937 to Joseph and Irene Palac in Cook County, IL.

He served 4 years in the Navy, from 1955 to 1959. After serving in the Navy he worked for the United States Postal Service starting April 12^th 1960 until he retired on January 2^nd 2007.

Edward married Linda Fay Beck on November 17^th 1962 in Chicago, IL. Ed and Linda had three children: Jeffrey, and twins: Deborah and Steven.

Ed and Linda moved to Spokane, WA in 1969. Ed never forgot his roots, always cheering on the Chicago Cubs baseball team and Chicago Bears football team.

Ed enjoyed raising and guiding his family including his three children and three grandchildren always teaching them that family comes first.

Edward is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Linda. He is survived by his three children: Jeffrey (Nina) Palac, Steven Palac, and Deborah (Gardner) Elmore; and his three grandsons: Eric Elmore, Ryan Elmore, and Chase Elmore.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Sat. Feb. 4^th at Riplinger Funeral Home, 4305 N Division St, Spokane, WA.
