Gordon Phillip Villa

Gordon (Gordy) Phillip Villa passed away on October 22 at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife Mary, daughters (Marlow and Nicole), granddaughters (Harper, Campbell and Ember) brother (Steve) and sister (Linda). He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Phillip. Gordy was born on May 16, 1948 to Bruno and Yvonne Villa in Seattle, WA. He was named after his grandfather, Gordon Stone. Gordy attended Renton High School and Green River Community College. He served his country as a Marine before building a successful career as a sales representative for toy, candy and sporting goods manufacturers. Gordy developed a love for nature early in life through the Boys Scouts, trips to Mt. Rainier with his grandparents, and summers at Lake Kachess. He spent some of his favorite days fishing at Browns’ Lake, mushroom hunting in and around Ronald, Washington, and traveling through Montana. Gordy loved his family, his Italian heritage, meticulously restoring European classic sports cars, Pendleton shirts, spending time with friends at the Eagles, history, and open space with a view. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 10 from 2-5 p.m. at the Spokane Eagles Aerie #2  - 6410 N Lidgerwood St, Spokane, WA 99208. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Boys Scouts of America or the Shriners.
