Jeffrey William Myers joined his parents, Ray and Mary Myers, and his older sister Mary Anna, in heavenly peace, on October 31st, 2018.Jeff was the youngest brother of eight children. He was a special little brother to his siblings and their spouses; Michelle Richardson (Tom), Frank, Dan, Joe (Kim), Don (Nikki), Tom (Mary).Family was the center of Jeff’s life, spending nearly every summer weekend with Don or Tom’s Family at Deer or Loon Lake. He loved to fish with his brothers and tell stories by the fire. Jeff cherished Family gatherings. He brought laughter and joy to Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter Dinners. His nieces and nephews looked forward to the hilarious stories and spontaneous outburst that were sure to come at these gatherings. Jeff knew what was important in life, something he learned from Dad. He refrained from materialism and lived a simple life. He was loyal and reliable, especially when others needed help. He was always available when a brother or sister was moving, lifting heavy appliances, or laying sod for a new yard. Jeff was never “too busy” to help others or had something “more important” to do, It was “others” that was important to Jeff.Jeff began his career in utility construction as an equipment operator. From there, He joined Century Link as a Network Technician in September of 1997. He had a good work ethic, made friendships and garnered the respect of his coworkers.He enjoyed simple things and was passionate about them; sports, politics and fishing. As a young boy, Jeffy always accompanied Dad at high school and college football games. His passion for sports was fulfilled in high school where as a multi sport athlete, he enjoyed great success and had many achievements. He was a deeply loved Uncle by Anna, Bobbi, Jon, Tommy, Baynton, Maddy, Brendon, Rachel, Katie, Kevin, Joey, Raymond, Chelsea, Abby, Dante, Sammy, Joel, Thomas, Elizabeth, Lydia and Ben.For his surviving sister and brothers, we lost a part of us when Jeff said good bye. We will deeply miss our brother and will forever hear his contagious laugh.A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Thomas More Parish, 515 W. St. Thomas More Way, Spokane, WA. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Spokane, WA.
