Lawrence "Jim" James Bashore

BASHORE, Lawrence (Jim) – 81 years old went to be with our Lord on October 11th, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 yrs., Berniece; three daughters, Laura Allen (Ron), Kim Ryoppy (Steve), Tina Pounder (Rock); six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Loretta and his brother, Doug. Jim graduated from the University of Idaho and received a Bachelor’s in Business. They moved to Spokane in 1968, where he worked at Allstate for 32 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Joseph’s Parish for 50 years. He was a jokester and liked to make people laugh. He loved spending time with his family. His hobbies were fishing, camping, golfing, and working in his yard. Services will be held at St. Joseph’s Church in Colbert, WA, on October 21st, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow. Donations can be made to the Cancer society in Jim’s honor.
