Ferdinand Lee Bronson, 92, joined his heavenly Father and reunited with Sylvia on June 20, 2024.
Lee was born in Whitefish, Montana on September 18, 1931, where he was raised by his father Abe and step-mother Nellie. After graduation from high school, Lee worked on the Hungry Horse Dam before joining the Navy in 1951. Lee served honorably as a Torpedoman/Ordinance on the USS Carp Submarine (SS338) during the Korean War. He received medals for National Defense as well as good conduct. He was recommended for re-enlistment in 1955, but he had already met the love of his life, Sylvia, whom he married in 1956.
Lee worked for the Great Northern Railroad out of Whitefish for several years before he and Sylvia moved to Spokane in 1964. Lee sold cars and heavy-duty trucks as he and Sylvia raised their three children; Randy, Denise and Tyler. Lee and Sylvia enjoyed over 52 years together before Sylvia went home to be with Jesus in 2008.
Lee is survived by his three children, as well as five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
