Leilani Tamare of Spokane, Washington passed away on July 14, 2023, in Wallace, Kansas. Leilani was born in LaGrande, Oregon to Tolio and Ponciana Clanry on July 31, 1998. She moved with her family to the Marshall Islands in 2006 where she attended the Marshall Island High School, she graduated in 2017.
Leilani helped her parents with the church in the Marshall Islands that they pastored. She was involved in the music and youth departments. Her main desire was fundraising. She loved baking and that was her way to help raise funds and to fellowship.
Leilani along with her parents moved to Spokane, Washington in 2020. Shortly after moving she found the love of her life, Kai Tamare, and married him in 2022. Leilani and her husband were heavily involved in the church, where they helped in the music department, youth department, the church school, fellowshipping, housing ministers, and serving the church in any way possible and always baking goods for the fundraisers.
Leilani is survived by her husband Kai Tamare of Spokane, Washington, her sister Charlene Phillip of the Marshall Islands and her brothers Joshua Manene of Enid, OK and Matthias Manene of Spokane, WA.
Leilani is preceded in death by her brother Caleb Manene.
