Linda passed fighting tooth and nail at Holy Family Hospital on June 9th, 2021. She was born to Leonard Gus Anderson and Ruby Beatrice Anderson Nee Rambo on April 18th,1944 in Spokane, Washington. Growing up on 5 Mile Prairie with her older brother Gary, she was always an outside girl, being in her grandfather's barn, chasing cows and cats swinging from the rafters to a pile of hay, or talking her best friend into riding her neighbors horse, so many childhood memories. She loved to dance and was talked into going to a grange dance August 2nd, 1962 and met her husband to be. She was engaged September 13th, 1962 and married that lucky man on March 3rd, 1963. That was the start of a 58 year adventure for Linda and Philip, with the additions of three children Joseph, Marie, and Delanie. Along with her children, she was blessed with three wonderful grandchildren James, Laure, and Ruby the glory and sunshine of her life. Linda was always a crafty person, loving to be outside, working in her yard and creating artistic works she shared with friends and family. She moved forward with her life in 1977, going back to school and becoming a classroom teacher in Mead School District, where she went to school. There she taught grades 1st, 2nd and 3rd for 19 years, and retired in 2002 making her next move to Sacheen Lake, a place she loved since she was 7 years old. Bringing with her cats, dogs, birds, a gerbil and any animal she could save. Once there, she branched out into the community, acquiring many new activities and building multiple friendships. This community of friends has always been a blessing to her, for they were always there for her, and everyone else within the friendship group. She was an integral part of her family, and community, and was able to connect with everyone. She lit up a room when she entered, and made everyone feel welcome. At the end, Linda was surrounded by the love of her family, never alone for one minute. She will be deeply missed by all. The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, support and condolences. A gathering to Celebrate Linda’s life will be announced in the future.
