Lucille Jewel Brookshire

Lucille “Lou” Brookshire passed peacefully on April 17, 2018 at the age of 83. More than anything she loved her family. We are happy for her because she is with family that she has missed for many years. Her parents George and Edith Palmer, her husband Russell (passed 2016), and most of all her two beloved sons, Fred John (1976), and Kim Jody (2014). Mom was born in Wenatchee on July 20, 1934. Most of her life was spent in Spokane. Lou and Russ raised their 6 children on a farm in Elk, Wa. Their remaining children are LuAnne Jennings (Mike), Dennis Brookshire (Debbie), Sandi Lindgrin, Russell Brookshire (Trish). Add to Lou’s family her 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grands. She is also survived by her loving brother, Charlie Rohrbach. Lou’s love for her family will live on for many years to come. A celebration of Lou's life will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Chattaroy Community Church, 3711 E. Chattaroy Rd., Chattaroy, WA.
