Marilyn went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 4, 2024, Independence Day, her ultimate freedom day, at CIEL Senior Living of Spokane. Her last breath on earth was her first breath in heaven. Marilyn is now reunited with her daughter, Charlene, Grand-daughter Suzanne Wylie, her parents, along with 4 brothers and sisters and other family & friends. Marilyn and her husband, Wayne Lawson, were married for over 56 years. She was the mother of two daughters, Charlene Wylie (deceased) and Colleen Bagdon. Marilyn was a musician for many years, giving single and group piano lessons by the Pace Method. She also was a church pianist and played the accordian, upright bass and organ and sang on a gospel radio program for a few years. Marilyn spent her life devoted to Jesus. Marilyn was known by many people for her pleasant personality and beautiful smile. She is loved by family and those she has known over the years. She will be missed greatly. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Wayne Lawson, daughter Colleen Bagdon of Athena, OR, son-in-law Mike Wylie of Spokane, WA, Grandchildren Steven Wylie, Jillian Kehne, Ashley VanMeter, Joelle & Mary Bagdon, & great-grandchildren Reagan & Hollyn Wylie and Emmett Kehne.
A memorial service will be held for Marilyn L. Lawson at Riplingers Funeral Home on 4305 N Division Street in Spokane, Washington on July 19, 2024 at 2 o'clock PM.
