Mary Lou Kimsey

Kimsey, Mary Lou (Age 94) of Spokane, WA passed away on January 23, 2021. Mary Lou was born in Orofino, ID to Thor and Lottie Nygaard. The family moved to Spokane when she was five. She graduated from North Central High School. She worked at the Naval Supply Depot during WWII then went to work for MEPS (Military Entrance Processing Station until she retired in 1983. Mary Lou volunteered at St. Anthony’s Parish and Catholic Charities for many years. She enjoyed traveling and playing cards with her dear friends. She was the anchor of our family and will be greatly missed. Mary Lou is survived by her daughters Gayle Gonser and Laurie Heagle, granddaughters Stephanie Lang, Amanda Barnard, Macy Heagle, Heidi Heagle and 8 great grandchildren Xander, Cierra, Kaden, Drew, Chase, Emma, Oliver and Elliott as well as many nieces and nephews. There will be no funeral at this time but we will plan a celebration of life later this year. Riplinger Funeral Home will host a viewing on February 3rd and February 4th between 1 and 4pm.
