It is with great sadness that on November 3rd, 2024, we lost our loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, sister and friend, Paulette Kay Porter. Paulette was 79 years old; she was born in Spokane, WA on December 2nd, 1944, to Paul and Dorothy Robar. She graduated from Shadle Park high school in 1963. Paulette dedicated herself to raising her three kids and later worked in the kitchen at Northwood Jr. High School for many years before retiring as kitchen manager.
Paulette had a passion for gardening, baking, shopping, crocheting, her dogs, and spending time with her beloved family and friends. She is survived by her three children: son Kevin Smith (Cindy), daughter Kim Ratcliff, and son Korey Smith (To'mey). Paulette’s legacy lives on through her eight grandchildren: granddaughters Amanda (Scott), Jena, and Zoey; and grandsons Nicholes, Jacob, Tyler (Cheyenne), Tanner (Alexandria), and Alex. She also leaves behind eight precious great-grandchildren: Skylar, Lucas, Lennon, Mason, Grayson, Jaxson, and Tallulah, all of Spokane, WA and her newest great-grandchild, Oliver, of Lakewood, WA. Additionally, Paulette is survived by her sister Karen Campbell (Dan) of Seaside, OR, niece Danielle, and nephew Ryan.
Paulette will be cherished and always remembered for her lasting love, generosity, and sassy sense of humor. She touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
