Reginald Gregory DeGon, age 84, passed away on February 18, 2021 at his home in Spokane, WA. He will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery at Orchard Prairie. Reggie worked 40 years at the phone company, was retired from the Air National Guard, and worked as a volunteer fireman for many years. He will be remembered for the deep love he held for his country and for the flowers that he often brought home to his wife. He could frequently be found watching old westerns with the kids and he could always be counted on to know who all the actors were. He loved books and history and had an extensive knowledge of history and airplanes and he sincerely loved flying. After retirement, he spent many mornings at the Skyway Café at Felts Fields where he had coffee with old and new friends. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of 62 years, his children, Yvette Kramer (Dean), Deborah Schauer, Steve DeGon (Dea), Kim Newman (Aaren), and Lynn Smith (Troy), numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was loved and will be missed dearly.
