Reuel Titus "Curly" Werner
Reuel was born on August 20, 1931 and passed on October 20, 2024 at the age of 93.
Reuel was preceded in death by his wife Dolly. He is survived by his son Richard; daughter-in-law Jill; his daughter Diana; 3 grandchildren: Sawyer and wife Amy, Levi and Alexa.
Reuel served in the Air Force Strategic Command for 21 years and retired as a Lt Colonel. He logged over 5,000 hours of flight time as a radar navigator and flight instructor. As well as Chief of Bomb Navigator and Director of Operations and training at Fairchild AFB. Upon retirement from the Air Force he worked as a Sales and Engineering Rep for the RA Pearson Packaging Co. in Spokane. He spent 20 active and productive years building relationships and clients worldwide and enjoyed it immensely.
Retired again, Reuel spent several years caring for his wife, Dolly, in her declining years. Through it all, Reuel aka Curly dedicated much of his time and resources serving in community minded organizations. Masons, Shriners, the Shriner Hospital, RiteCare, Early Childhood Speech and Development, the Spokane Interstate Fair board and more. He gave all he had in work and commitment to make the world in which he lived a better place through service to others. He left this world a better place due to his commitment to service, community and humanity. His life was well lived.
