WILLIAMS, Robert Harlan (better known as Bob) – Was born November 13, 1938 to Wesley and Nellie Williams in Tacoma, WA and he passed into the presence of Jesus on August 29, 2021. He grew up in Puyallup, WA, and graduated from Puyallup High School. He was very involved in FFA and State Farmer in 1956. After high School, he joined the Navy serving most of his time aboard the USS Burton Island. While in the military, he married his high school sweetheart, Lea Myers. They had been married 63 years, 10 months. They were involved with Back Country Horsemen in both Idaho and Washington. They also were involved for 30 years with World Wide Marriage Encounter. Bob owned and operated Roto Rooter Sewer and Drain Service for 42 years, retiring in 2006. He did several other small jobs to keep himself busy. He was a part of the Bureau of Land Management, with their Mustang Program. He adopted several mustangs and turned them into good trail horses. Besides his wife, Lea, Bob is survived by his sons, Steven (Debbie), and Tom; by his daughters, Nikki (Carmen), and Christyn (Wendy); 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great greatgrandchild; nieces, nephews, cousins and very special friends. He was preceded in death by daughter, Coreen; by son, Scott; great grandson, Christopher; as well as his parents and siblings. He was a longtime member of Turning Point Open Bible Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Turning Point Open Bible Church, 11911 N Division St, Spokane, WA 99208. Interment with military honors will take place at 12 Noon at Fairmount Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials can be made to his church or to Back Country Horsemen of Washington.
