Samuel Sammy R. Azar

Our beautiful, wonderful, loving, compassionate, and caring son, Sammy, went to heaven to be with Jesus on March 29, 2025. He has joined his brother Ramsey and Uncle Victor, in heaven, where we believe they are celebrating together. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Najeeb and Najla Azar, and his paternal grandparents George and Salwa Azar.

Sammy was 37 years old—a big TEDDY BEAR—full of life and love. He adored his family and everyone he met.

Sammy chose to work in and manage the family business, Azar’s Restaurant, for 15 years. He was an exceptional manager who created delicious recipes and took great joy in tasting how well they turned out. He loved serving his customers with a warm welcome, a friendly smile, and always treated them like family. His loyalty to his mother and dedication to the business were unmatched.

Sammy is survived by his mother, Katy Azar; his father, Roy Azar; his brother, David Azar; his sister, Sally Azar; his nephew, MJ Azar (fiance Joslynn Skiles); sister-in- law Morgan Azar; and his beloved cat, Minnie.

Sammy enjoyed cooking, entertaining, taking long walks, visiting with family and friends, BBQs, working on his cars, playing video games with his siblings and researching everything he is interested in.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Riplinger Funeral Home on Friday, April 11th, 2025 (4305 N Division St.) at 11am with lunch to follow at Life Center Church (1202 N Government Way).

Sammy, we don’t know how to go on without you. You left us far too soon and left a huge void in our hearts. We will miss you deeply. See you in heaven, our awesome son.
