Sandra Kay Dionne

Sandra Kay (Crosby) DionneSandy was born on April 11, 1939 in Spokane to James and Mabel Crosby. She married her high-school sweetheart, Ron Dionne, on September 29, 1956. Last Sunday marked their 68th wedding anniversary. Sandy passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024 at Spokane Hospice House.

Sandy was a devoted wife and mother. She will always be remembered for the help and encouragement she gave to her family. She loved the holidays, was a gourmet cook, a gifted artist, was a fan of old movies, and loved her dogs and cats!

Sandy is survived by her loving husband, Ron, and her children, Eric and Julie Dionne, sisters-in-law LeAnn (Larry) Adams and Michele (David Whiting) and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mabel Crosby, her elder sister, Dorothy Burgess, her mother-in-law, Orpha Dionne, and sister-in-law Lorraine Leliefeld.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Hospice of Spokane and especially Tami Aarnes. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
