Shawn Leiper

Shawn Leiper was born January 29, 1962. Shawn was a hardworking, affectionate daughter, sister, aunt, wife, mother and grandmother. Shawn had a love for music, family and God. Above all else Shawn had a caring and nurturing side to her that left nothing she would not do for those she loved. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy and there was nothing she wouldn't give if it meant that they were all ok, even if that meant she had to give the shirt right off her back.
From the moment she became a mother, she became selfless. And the moment she became a grandmother, even more so. Shawn loved with all of her heart and was not afraid to show it. To be loved by her was like being wrapped in a hug so tight that you felt safe and comfortable. Shawn greeted those she loved with a hug and when it was time to leave, she would kiss you on the cheek or forehead. "I love you" was something Shawn was never afraid to say or show no matter how frequent, whether it be her incredibly close loved ones, a long time neighbor or a distant relative.
Her love and affection was unconditional and this would be something she would want all her loved ones to continue in her memory here on earth.
Shawn was called home to be with God on November 16, 2024. 

Shawn is proceeded in death by her mother Colene and father Lawrence. 

Shawn is survived by her husband, Scott; son Joshua and his wife Angel; son Aaron; daughter Casey; and son Daniel and his wife Jessica; Sisters: Renné, Annie and Jody; nieces and nephews: Sasha, Skywalker, Jasmine, Malik, Chris and Jesse; and 7 grandchildren: Lina, Justin, Oakley, Avril, Addison, Daxton and Mazzy.
